DynamoDB 11 Billion Benchmark – Repository Walk-through

You are here: Home / Amazon / DynamoDB 11 Billion Benchmark – Repository Walk-through

May 14, 2019

TSG started a 11 Billion Document Benchmark with DynamoDB last Friday to test and verify the power of Amazon Web Services as well as the TSG ECM products on an unprecedented scale.  As of this morning we have migrated approximately 7 billion documents. This post will dive into the repository itself and show the functionality we have been able to maintain at massive scale.

Our post yesterday detailed the reasons and expectations for the 11 billion document benchmark. This post will demonstrate the migration as well as the repository functionality real-time while the migration is running. The video below shows off the OpenMigrate tracker (view both instances yourself here and here) as well as the live repository in action while documents are being migrated to it.

Let us know what you think in the comments and keep an eye out for further updates this week as the benchmark steadily moves to 11 billion documents.
