public class StringArray
extends java.lang.Object
String
objects.
For normal Java applications, an abstraction like this would not be needed.
However, in order to do nested arrays that would normally be represented by
the String[][] type in web services, we need to have a wrapper class.
Normal Java code:
String[][] sampleField;
Webservice-safe code:
StringArray[] sampleField;
Note that rarely will you pass a StringArray (and not a StringArray[]) in and out of functions, although you may use a singular object inside functions. If you see the need for a singular StringArray object, you should probably be using String[] instead.
