A Life Sciences Manufacturing Plant was looking for a way to innovate and improve their Quality Systems while reducing the total cost of ownership and risk. The customer had a dated Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that relied on terminal screens, printed forms with handwritten notes, and manual data entry upon batch completion. The eventual solution included a simplified LIMS system that leveraged Word documents allowing data to be captured real-time without the need for any paper. The digital approach allows for intuitive documents that can be easily changed and updated with a compliant 21 CFR 11 approval process without the need for any IT updates.
