Documentum D2 – Summary of Previous Posts

You are here: Home / Documentum / D2 / Documentum D2 – Summary of Previous Posts

March 26, 2012

Since EMC’s announcement of Documentum D2 late last year, there has been a lot of buzz, and we’ve received a number of inquiries regarding the functionality and underlying technologies of the product.  For those who are interested in finding out more information about D2, we would recommend checking out our earlier posts and screen cams that highlight some of the features of the product.

This post summarizes the previous articles that we’ve written in the past few months that give additional information about D2.

Documentum D2 – Initial Thoughts gives an overview of D2 and our thoughts on the product after reviewing D2 shortly after its release.

Documentum Searching – D2, Webtop, HPI, and xCP and the accompanying screen cam give an overview of the D2 user experience from the viewpoint of users who primarily access Documentum to search and retrieve content.

Documentum Contributor Interfaces – D2, Webtop, HPI, and xCP and the accompanying screen cam give a similar overview of D2, but from the prospective of users who mainly use the system for creating new and modifying existing content.

Hopefully these posts shed some light on D2 for those who aren’t yet familiar with the product.
