Keeping in step with our commitment to consultants’ work-life balance, TSG strives to have a culture of service and takes part in numerous volunteer initiatives throughout the year. Listed below are a few of the beneficiaries of our volunteer work.

The United Cerebral Palsy (UCP)

Starting in 2007, TSG has been utilizing our technical skills to help United Cerebral Palsy. UCP works to advance the independence of people with physical and cognitive disabilities and the economically disadvantaged. TSG helped to develop a content management system to make digital books available to children with physical disabilities online. Using this system, UCP has been able to create a centralized, online storage location for books, so children and schools throughout Illinois can access them.

Additionally, TSG has hosted a charitable boat cruise to benefit UCP and has participated in their annual Great Chefs Tasting Party.

Lincoln Park Community Shelter

At the beginning of each month, TSG packs sack lunches for residents of the Lincoln Park Community Shelter. LPCS is a social service agency that provides transitional housing, meals and other services to over 450 men and women each year who are experiencing homelessness. Each month, TSG employees bring the food used in the lunches to our offices where they are assembled before being delivered to LPCS. This initiative has proven to be a popular and rewarding avenue for TSG employees to give back to the community. Read about our involvement on our blog!

Greater Chicago Food Depository

Since 2007, TSG has participated in the Chase Corporate Challenge road race. The Challenge features teams from corporations of all sizes running in a 3.5 mile race to benefit local not for profit organizations. For the past two years, the Chicago race has benefited the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD). GCFD is a food distribution and training center that aims to provide food for hungry people and end hunger in the Chicago area. The race is a great team bonding experience and is a fun help those in need.
