intern diary summer 2007

Being an intern at TSG was a great opportunity; I was able to work on exciting, real-world projects amongst incredibly intelligent and fun coworkers. I gained experience with many different types of technologies - content management systems, user interface libraries, JavaScript, Java and XML. Being exposed to so many different things left me with a broad range of practical experience and insight on what things I want to focus on in the future.

While the technical experience was an important aspect of my internship, the TSG culture is something that left just as big of an impression on me. The small company feel of TSG allowed me to get to know everyone and provided a fun, friendly atmosphere. Between the office foosball table, the company boat cruise and the after work happy hours, fun was never lacking during my time with TSG. I'm so glad I was able to spend my summer working in the heart of Chicago doing fun projects in a great environment.
