We’ve recently added the ability for an Active Wizard form to use an Adobe Form as a template for PDF output.
The default Active Wizard PDF output is relatively simple. Here’s what it looks like:
The simple structure allows an Active Wizard administrator to update the form template without any code updates. The admin can add/remove questions and pages, reorder questions, etc. and the PDF output will change accordingly.
However, for many clients, the PDF form template needs to be formatted in a more complex manner. Many government specific forms are good examples since the receiving party requires the form in a certain format. For these clients, we now allow the Active Wizard data to be applied to an Adobe Form. Here’s an example permit application form, filled out by the Active Wizard:
