One of the features that was added to the Active Wizard in the 3.9 release is in-page calculations. This feature allows administrators to calculate a field’s value based on other fields on the page. Here’s an example:
In the above screenshot, the user can answer the top three questions, but the bottom two are calculated automatically.
Administrators can perform basic arithmetic operations in any calculation including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Operations can be grouped as well using ( and ). In the above screenshot, the Budget Remaining field is a simple subtraction calculation:
Total Budget – Current FY Spend
The variance field, is a little more complex since grouping is involved:
Total Budget – ( Current FY Spend + Estimated Spend Remaining )
